This Privacy Policy explains how Volnyn ("Volnyn", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"), including the Claw AI assistant and any features that connect to third-party accounts such as Google.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and credentials you provide when registering.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser information, and log data.
  • Content you create: websites, documents, images, prompts, and other content generated through the Services.
  • Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
  • Third-party account data: data you authorize us to access from connected services such as Google (see Section 3).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • To personalize features and improve user experience.
  • To process transactions and manage your account and credits.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
  • To detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.

3. Google User Data & Gmail Access

When you connect your Google account to the Claw assistant, you grant Volnyn permission to access certain Google account data using Google APIs. Specifically:

  • Scopes requested: read-only access to your Gmail messages (gmail.readonly) and your Google account email address (userinfo.email).
  • How it is used: solely to read and summarize your emails at your explicit request inside the Claw workspace (for example, "read my latest emails and summarize them"). We display this information back to you only.
  • What we do not do: we do not send, delete, or modify your emails; we do not use your Gmail data for advertising; and we do not sell it.
  • Storage: we store only the OAuth access/refresh tokens needed to maintain your connection. Email content is processed in real time to generate your summary and is not permanently stored on our servers.
Limited Use disclosure: Volnyn's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke Volnyn's access to your Google account at any time from the Claw page ("Disconnect Gmail") or via your Google Account permissions.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

  • With service providers (e.g. hosting, payment, and AI model providers) strictly to operate the Services.
  • To comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of users.
  • In connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.

5. Volnyn Chrome Extension

The Volnyn AI — Browser Agent Chrome extension lets you chat with Volnyn AI in your browser's side panel and ask it to act on the page you are viewing. When you use the extension:

  • What is collected: when — and only when — you send an instruction, the extension sends the current page's URL, title, visible text, and a list of its interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) to Volnyn's servers so our AI can decide the next step. Your extension token is sent to authenticate you.
  • What is not collected: the extension never reads pages in the background, does not track your browsing history, and does not collect keystrokes, passwords, or payment card details. Nothing is sent unless you actively send a message.
  • How it is used: page content is used solely to generate the AI's response and actions for your request. It is processed by our AI model providers as described in this Policy and is not sold or used for advertising.
  • Storage: your extension settings (server address and token) are stored locally in your browser. You can disconnect at any time by regenerating or removing your token at volnyn.com/user/extension, or by uninstalling the extension.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
