Eight catered chalets within walking distance of a lift, run by people who ski in the morning and cook in the evening.

We came for one winter in 2011 and bought the first chalet three years later. Everything since has been built around one idea: you should never have to organise anything after you arrive.
The staff live here year-round. They know which run holds the snow in a thaw and which restaurant will still seat you at nine.

Hot food from seven, packed lunches on the table, first lift by half past eight.
Book
Four courses, local wine, and no obligation to talk to anyone you did not arrive with.
Book
A proper drying room, morning transfers to the lift, and someone who checks the snow report so you do not have to.
Book
Hiking, lake swimming and half the price. The mountain does not close in July.
Book“We have been going back every February since 2017. It is the only holiday nobody in the family argues about.”
